Last.fm on Xbox Live Will be FREE! Almost…

Details regarding Last.fm’s intergration with Xbox Live have finally been released.

In an interview with Joystiq Xbox Live Christina DeRosa, general manager had this to say:

“Silver users will be able access what we’re considering a trial period of three hours a month, which comes with video advertising. Gold users will have unlimited ad-supported access, so they can use it 24 hours a day. There will also be a premium offering on a subscription basis from Last.fm, that will be commercial free and will also have more sophisticated personalization features, like Loved Tracks.”

Video advertising?  Or you can shell out $3 a month for Last.fm’s premium service.  We’ll just have to wait and see what these ads will look like.

  1. This sounds like a really cool service.

  2. I will download this.

  3. Last.fm has never appealed to me, it’s system always linked me to things I didn’t want to listen to and put me off.

  4. I’ll consider checking it out, as a gold member free is fine.
